Thank you for your insights. I would love to know just how you came upon them and what events in your own life opened your heart in such a way. Perhaps this will be revealed in your book. It is difficult to be human, but it appears that you have found a path through that difficulty. As Rainer Maria Rilke once said, "To love another person is the greatest task, for which all other work is preparation." Thank you for providing a way to love ourselves, to love others, and to discover God's desire to live His life in and through us and out into the world. Thank you very much for offering this book. I have worked with the homeless and also with at risk teens. The past 2 years I've done a 220 mile walk against drugs and have taken donations for a non- profit treatment facility in Ne. Last year didn't go to well, we came home discouraged. After finding this site and reading the stories, I realize that if we touched one life out there on the road, it was worth our efforts. It seems we were always in the right place to meet the people that needed to hear what we had to offer as far as recovery. Thank you for the book. If we all continue to care about others, we are on the right path.

I just discovered, or perhaps more accurately, I was led to your site yesterday. This site is literally a Godsend for me! I have been eagerly pouring over this site because it really speaks to me right where I am emotionally and spiritually!
Right now, I am financially chanllenged and have a daughter who has been diagnosed with end stage renal disease, so things are well, challenging. BUT I can honestly say that in spite of the fear, worry and anxiety that are part of this experience, I am learning that God is indeed REAL!!
